Account
Account features live under Account on the storefront. Browsing as a guest does not require a sign-in; placing an order and most account screens do.
Shoppers sign in with a phone one-time code, not email and password.
- Enter a Kuwait mobile number.
- Request a one-time code.
- Enter the code.
- The shop keeps the customer signed in.
In local development the SMS sender is a stub: the code is logged (and may be shown on screen) instead of sent by SMS. See Current limitations.
Sign out ends the session. A guest cart can remain for shopping without an account.
Profile
Customers can update name, email, language (English or Arabic), date of birth, gender, and household size. Completing profile fields may earn a loyalty bonus when loyalty settings enable it.
Addresses
Addresses are Kuwait-oriented: map pin, city/area, optional PACI area, block, street, building, floor, apartment, phone, and notes. One address can be the default.
At checkout the selected address is copied onto the order so later edits do not rewrite history.
Orders
From Account → Orders the customer can:
- List past and current orders
- Open an order and watch its progress
- Cancel while the order is still cancellable, with a reason such as changed mind, ordered by mistake, too slow, found elsewhere, or other
Typical progress the customer will see:
Placed → confirmed → picking → ready → out for delivery → delivered
Also possible: delivery failed, cancelled.
Wallet and loyalty
| Feature | What the customer sees |
|---|---|
| Wallet | Balance and transaction history; can pay from wallet at checkout |
| Loyalty | Points balance, earn/redeem history; redeem points on the cart |
Earn and redeem rules (welcome bonus, profile bonus, expiry) are configured in the dashboard under Settings → Loyalty.
Jm3eia Pro
The Pro page explains membership. Signed-in customers can subscribe to a published plan (paid from the wallet at the configured price) or cancel at period end. Perks (for example delivery benefits) come from global Pro settings.
Wishlist and recently viewed
- Wishlist requires sign-in. Add or remove products; the list is paginated.
- Recently viewed can be tracked for signed-in customers and merged after login.
Notifications
In-app notifications cover order progress, points, wallet, campaigns, and support. Customers can mark one or all as read. The shop can also keep a live connection for new notifications.
Push token registration exists for iOS and Android, but sending those pushes is not fully wired. See Current limitations.
Support
Customers open tickets with a subject, category, optional order/product links, message, and attachments. They can reply and update an open ticket.
